Development engineer in electrical engineering/mechatronics/physics
Your tasks:
- Participation in the design, production and testing of innovative device concepts with new measuring systems/principles
- Elaboration of application-specific requirements for hardware, electronics and software
- Planning and realization of test setups for testing prototypes/demonstrators
- Participation in research projects with universities, research institutions and industrial companies
- Writing reports and documentation
Your qualification:
- University or university degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics or physics (or: completed scientific university degree preferably
with a scientific focus) with professional experience
- scientific interest and thinking
- committed, structured and team-oriented way of thinking and working
- good verbal and written skills
- practical experience and very good knowledge in the field of measurement technology
- Professional experience in the field of embedded software (e.g. operating systems, SW control of HW components, post-processing,
database, user interface) using associated development tools
A technical understanding of the areas of embedded systems and software (embedded C, Python and model-based software development Matlab) would
be an advantage. Dealing with standard office software is part of it. We require independent, systematic work. Good knowledge of English is
desirable. Class B driver's license and a car are recommended to reach the place of work.
FPGA developer: hardware-related software development Industry 4.0
Your tasks:
- Conception and development of FPGA-based systems for digital signal and image processing, isochronous sequence controls and bridging
- Implementation, synthesis, integration and commissioning of FPGA designs
- Implementation on Xilinx, Vivado, and Lattice FPGAs including SoCs
- Verification of the design and functional tests in hardware
- Creation of test environments in software using MATLAB or C++
Your qualification:
- completed studies in the field of electrical engineering / communications engineering with a focus on microelectronics or comparable qualification
- good knowledge of Verilog
- experience in "Quartus" and "Qsys", Lattice "Diamond" and timing constraints
- knowledge of MATLAB, Mentor Graphics "HDL Designer" and Nios programming with C is an advantage
- good knowledge of German and English, both spoken and written
- basics of hardware-related software development, basic knowledge of C and hardware-related operating systems
- enjoying future-oriented technologies
- interested in contributing your own ideas and visions
